What is TEC?

Our TEC course focuses on teaching methods for age groups two through twelve, and the different developmental stages of children. Instructors focus on a variety of TEC methodologies, classroom disciplines, and combination of methods work best in TEC classrooms.



Program Objectives

  • Examine the core knowledge of TEC
  • Create TEC lesson plans
  • Assess and compare TEC methods of teaching
  • Facilitate successful communication in the TEC classroom

Goals

Participants will be able to:

  • Provide a classroom environment that is supportive to the latest trends of TEC.
  • Design and implement TEC lesson plans that reflect best teaching practices.
  • Demonstrate high expectations of all students learning.
  • Monitor and assess student progress.

Our Diploma in TEC (Teaching English to Children) requires you to complete FTE 101 and TEC 103 courses.

Diploma in TEC
  • 2 x 16 week Online Courses
  • 1 Course = 3 Credit Points
  • Diploma in TEC = 6 Credit Points
  • Total duration = Three to six months
  • Earn your Diploma in TEC while doing your full-time job.

Our Certificate in TEC (Teaching English to Children) requires you to complete TEC 103 courses.

Certificate in TEC
  • 1 x 16 week Online Courses
  • 1 Course = 3 Credit Points
  • Certificate in TEC = 3 Credit Points
  • Total duration = Three months
  • Earn your Diploma in TEC while doing your full-time job.
GRADUATION REQUIREMENT:

Minimum 2.5 GPA
